3D printed watering place for the stable – Small village setting

3D printed watering place for the stable – Small village setting

The 3D model

I divided the 3D model of the watering place in 2 distinct blocks: the wooden watering place and the water. In this way, I can use the watering place full or empty.

Every side is made of boards, a cube divided in every board with the bevel applied.

Then, in sculpt mode, I added the wood grains.

I made two versions of the water, that is made from a parallelepiped.

In the first version I made the ripples using the torus, like the fountain in the stone temple.

The 3D print

To 3D print every element I set the layer height to 0.2mm, using the grey and brown filament.

The painting

I 3D printed one watering place with the brown filament and I didn’t paint it, while I painted the one made with grey filament, using the brown acrylic paint.
I painted the water with the light blue acrylic paint.
